Approving actions: Allow once, Always allow, Deny
How you decide what Serasmart can do in a connected app.
When the AI wants to do something in a connected app, a card appears in the chat with the app, the action and what it sends. You choose:
- Allow once: the action runs now, once;
- Always allow: this kind of action runs from now on without asking;
- Deny: the action does not run.
Actions waiting for your decision also appear in the “Waiting for your approval” window. They have no time limit.
Risk classes
- reading (search, read): runs on its own;
- creating or changing: asks you; you can choose Always allow;
- sending, deleting, payments, permissions: asks you every time; Always allow does not appear;
- forbidden (for example secret data or deleting an account or a database): never runs.
A request can have at most 25 actions, of which at most 10 change something.
Take back an “Always allow”
In Connectors you see the actions that are always allowed (“These actions run without asking”). Remove one, and the AI asks you again.
You are responsible for the actions you approve. Serasmart cannot undo what was done in a third-party app.
