How usage is measured
The weekly and monthly percentages, the 7-day parts and what happens at 100%.
Each paid plan includes an amount of usage for a 30-day period that starts on the day the plan starts. Your account shows usage as percentages, not technical units.
Where you see it
In Settings → Usage and Settings → Billing there are two bars:
- “of this week's usage”, with the date it renews;
- “of this month's usage”, for the whole 30-day period.
The weekly parts
A period's usage comes in four equal parts, one every 7 days from the day the plan started. What you do not use in a week moves to the next week, within the same period. At the end of the period, whatever is left is lost.
What uses more
A more powerful model uses more than an economical one, and pictures and videos use usage according to their cost. Serasmart Auto picks a model that suits the question, so you do not use usage for nothing.
Warnings and the limit
You get warnings at 25%, 50%, 75% and 90% of the week's usage. At 100%, the features that use usage stop until the next part, a new period, or until you buy extra usage. You see the “Usage limit reached” window.
